Danelectro 56 Baritone Electric Guitar

£469.00 £579.00

This Danelectro 56 Baritone guitar is a reissue of the baritone guitar from the 1950s. Despite its retro looks however, this model is fully up to date. Danelectro have been careful to retain their characteristic sound while making improvements. The guitar is now more stable than before and perfect for using in music styles like jazz, rock n' roll, surf or even alternative music like atmospheric rock and dark metal!

Danelectro 65 Baritone: tuned a quarter lower

The longer scale length of 29.75 inches means that you can tune this guitar a quarter lower. This means that the standard E-A-D-G-B-E tuning would then be at the 5th fret. With this setup you can get lower, heavier sounding chords on your guitar. The Danelectro 56 Baritone is perfect for guitarists who can't get used to 7-string guitars.

Typical Danelectro sound

The baritone guitar has a solid masonite body with tone chambers. The body is produced using high temperatures and pressure which, together with the high output lipstick pickups, ensure the typical Danelectro sound that this make has become so famous for. The machine heads and the bridge have been improved for better tuning stability. This retro model meets all of the requirements of a modern day instrument.
