Ibanez RGDIX6MRW-CBF Charcoal Brown Burst Flat
Most extreme modern styles require notes far lower than the traditional low ‘E’ and this Iron Label RGD will happily accommodate this whilst style retaining the same recognisable and iconic RG sharpness and attitude.
Described by Ibanez themselves as their "ultimate metal machine", this guitar is not messing around! This eye catching RGD model is an unusual mix of layers of Ash topped with a beautiful piece of rosewood. The sculpted top is emphasised by the stark contrast in light and dark woods. It looks great!
With a longer scale length measuring a full inch longer than standard to accommodate both the low B string and the down-tuning that routinely occurs in today's heavier musical styles, this guitar feels large and powerful like a Claymore sword. It's three piece maple and bubinga neck has jumbo frets, no fret markers and a beautiful, bright look due to the choice piece of Birdseye Maple for the fingerboard.
Iron Label Ibanez is all about sounding huge and authoritative: this machine is no different! It's armed with special Ibanez/DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickups which were designed especially for the Iron Label range of guitars. Experience top level heaviness with the Ibanez RGD.
With the combination of the Gibraltar Standard II bridge and locking tuners, the RGD Iron Label is a perfect choice for the metal player looking for a more modern guitar that features the ultimate in both sound and playability.
