Vintage 25th Anniversary Series V100 Les Paul
Be one of only 100 guitarists worldwide to own one of these limited edition Vintage V100 celebratory masterpieces.
The Vintage 25th Anniversary Series limited edition V100SVB celebrates a milestone in the company’s history and is in honour of their 25th anniversary of guitar craftsmanship.
Based on the Vintage® V100™, the V100SVB is built on a solid foundation of classic Vintage craftsmanship and aesthetics, time-tested Wilkinson and Grover hardware and hand-picked tonewoods.
With a striking and rare two-tone Silver Burst finish, the V100SVB, one of three models within the Vintage® 25th Anniversary Series, looks stunning with double-bound, multi-ply ivory body and headstock bindings, 25th Anniversary headstock decal, contrasting black bell style controls, black pickup surrounds, black/white multi-ply pickguard and chrome hardware.
The V100SVB follows tradition with a body and neck of hand-selected mahogany, chosen for its consistent warm, mellow tonal response, providing excellent lower and mid frequencies and superb sustain for old-school jazz and blues, whilst winding up the V100SVB’s tone controls and the carved maple cap adds clarity and hard edged bite that’s perfect for all rock styles.
A guitar’s pickups are of course the other half of the sonic equation, and what better way to bring out the tonal characteristic of this exceptional 25th Anniversary Series guitar, than with a pair of Wilkinson WOCHB hot ceramic dual coil pickups for a focused, detailed open response that remains clear with the guitar backed off, and right there in your face at full tilt, for big punchy tones.
The fast, sleek high gloss neck, with edge-bound, 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard inlaid with crown-style position markers, is straight off the ‘plays itself’ shelf for effortless accuracy with a great feel.
With a 14.1 gear ratio, Grover 102C Original Rotomatics are the perfect machine head choice for the V100SVB. Smooth in operation and featuring Grover’s unique precision-cut worm and gear system, for perfect meshing that eliminates string backlash and slippage. A GraphTech NuBone nut ensures friction-free string bending, whilst at the other end, a Wilkinson Tune-O-Matic bridge provides ultimate fine-tuning of each string for superb intonation.
Built by highly skilled Vintage craftsmen, the gorgeous 25th Anniversary Series V100SVB guitar unites all the innovative incarnations that have made the V100 a Vintage classic, a best-seller and the number one choice for a countless guitar players around the world, favoured for its consistency, superb playability and exceptional tone.
The appointments and hardware selection for the V100SVB represent that of an experienced design team who, after a quarter of a century of loyal support wanted to give something back to Vintage guitar fans and collectors who have waited anxiously for the launch of the new and exciting Vintage 25th Anniversary Series.
Like all three Limited Edition models in the exquisite Vintage 25th Vintage Anniversary Series, the V100SVB comes complete with a Vintage 25th Anniversary embroidered canvas gig bag and individually numbered certificate of authentication.
