The Laney Lionheart L20T-212 is a British-made boutique style combo amp. Two different 12" Celestion speakers give it its unique sound. The Heritage G12H speaker gives the L20T-212 a tight low end, which is complimented by the chiming highs of the Vintage 30, a hugely popular speaker. The versatility of the amp comes from its highly responsive preamp controls and the EL84 valves, responding well to different pickup configurations and pedals. A real player's amp.

VINTAGE OR MODERN

Lionhearts can sound either vintage or modern depending on how you use the pre-amp controls – back off the gain, wind up the master and you’re cooking up serious retro tone. Digging in hard produces extra bite, or backing off cleans it all up.

Conversely, wind the drive up and you have gain aplenty, giving you all the harmonic squeals and overtones you’d expect from a modern high-gain amplifier.

The L20T-212 offers serious tone that is often difficult to find in amplifiers costing twice the price Features such as gold plated PCB’s and jack sockets, sealed gold contact relays are used in all signal paths for minimum sound coloration, and each amplifier comes fitted with a studio quality digital reverb for the classic guitar reverb sound. Each Lionheart L20T-212 features a hand stamped ‘build number’ in the order they come off the Laney production line, and comes with a custom made ‘Lionheart’ dust cover.

Lionhearts are easy to use and most players will get a great tone out of them within seconds.

Purchased a lovely Tanglewood electro acoustic guitar yesterday 25/3/25 from the Hull store, to enable my progression in guitar playing. Shaun who helped me was a lovely guy, informative, funny and knowledgeable, he listened to my requirements and ensured the guitar was suitable and what I required. Left with a lovely 1/2-size guitar, case and beginner book for our daughter. She even got a blast of Happy Birthday on the piano. This is a lovely shop with amazing staff. Have walked into other music shops and been ignored, but not here. I will be back soon when it's time for me to buy a new electric guitar, even though it's a journey for us.

Brilliant service and helpful staff. I had planned on getting a nylon stringed guitar for a while and was struggling to find one. The staff here helped massively and offered me (without me even asking) if I was interested in playing. 10/10 definitely going back when I look into my next Investment.
