Do you offer part exchanges?

If you are looking to upgrade or wish to put your old instrument in exchange for a new one, we would be happy to offer you a part exchange depending on the age and condition of your instrument. Please email us at mail@goughanddavy.co.uk with pictures of your instrument and full details of what you are looking to purchase in exchange.

Does my instrument have a warranty?

Gough and Davy provide a 1-year manufacturer’s warranty with all new instruments. Some brands such as Yamaha offer extended warranties on their products. Contact us for warranty information on specific instruments.

Pre-owned items have a 3-month warranty.

Can I buy an item on finance?

At Gough and Davy, we can provide a number of different finance options. We are proud suppliers of the Take It Away Scheme run by the Arts Council. This scheme allows people buying an instrument for a child under 18, or an adult aged 18-25 purchasing for themselves, to spread the cost of an instrument interest free over 9 or 18 months.

We also offer a low interest bearing finance option from 9.9% for those not wishing to use the Take-It-Away scheme. For more information, call us on 01482 326525.

We also run a deposit scheme throughout the year that is done directly through us. You can put a deposit on any item in store and pay the rest of the balance within the next 6-8 weeks. This is not connected to any finance scheme and does not require a credit check. You will receive the item when the full balance is paid.

Where can I learn to play my new instrument?
