The Venus shape has become an iconic symbol that has elevated Faith Guitars into the awareness of countless musicians over the years. Drawing inspiration from classic OM or Auditorium body shapes, the Venus combines a 15" lower bout with a slimmer body depth, striking the perfect balance. In fact, the Naked Venus earned the title of 'The UK's Best Acoustic Guitar' at the MIA Music Awards in 2013.

It remains substantial enough to deliver a powerful acoustic performance yet retains a compact size, allowing players to move around effortlessly on stage.

Each Faith Naked instrument boasts a 100% solid tonewood construction, featuring a Spruce top and Mahogany body, adhering to the same standards as all other Faith series. However, these guitars have been meticulously stripped of non-essential cosmetic elements, embracing their natural, Naked state. Adorned with a satin finish throughout, the tonewood enjoys almost unrestricted freedom for resonant vibrations, producing a tonal quality that far surpasses typical expectations at this price point.

The Naked Venus is equipped with a Fishman Presys1 preamp and Sonicore undersaddle pickup. The preamp offers a contour EQ, Volume control, Phase button, and an integrated tuner for added versatility.

Excellent service of my guitar by Rob at the Hull store - new strings etc. Service with a smile and genuine interest in my guitar. Highly recommended. The star rating wasn't working and would only let me highlight two stars. The service deserves 5 stars.

I recently bought my keyboard from here instead of doing online, and I'm happy I did! Upon entering the shop you'll notice the wide variety of instruments ( especially pianos) displayed. One of the staff members helpfully talked me throught the different kinds of keyboard and gave me an idea of what sort of thing I wanted to buy , this was pleasing as it felt as if he wasn't trying to sell me something and generally wanted to help me! 👍 I ended up buying the keyboard there and then and it has been a perfect fit for me ever since! I would definitely recommend this place, even if you just wanted advice!

Used Gough & Davy many times over the years and have always been happy with their service. Most recently, I bought a new digital piano yesterday and it's been delivered, fully set up andcready to play today. Couldn't be happier. The staff are all very knowledgeable and take their time to explain all the in's and ous of various different models to ensure you choose the right one for you. My family will always use Gough & Davy. Thank you guys.

Such a shame there aren’t more shops like this. What an absolute diamond of a place! Katie was fabulous sorting my daughter out with her first violin. We came from Grimsby but will be back again for all our future musical needs 🎵

I bought a Yamaha hybrid piano a few years ago from Gough & Davy and needed to replace one of the key tops. This was proving to be a logistical nightmare considering it was such a simple but integral part. Shaun stepped in and saved the day, for which I will be eternally grateful. Collected the replacement key today, Shaun couldn't have been more helpful, piano rescued - Cheers Shaun & G&D, my favourite music store for about 50 years!

I came in around a week ago and was greeted by the staff in a lovely manner. I was told to talk to Oli due to the type of guitar I was looking for. He was amazing and showed me a few things around what I was looking for. He showed me how each guitar I considered sounded and compared them perfectly for me. Couldn’t be more grateful and walked out with a beautiful guitar!
