Faith Naked Neptune Black Satin Electro-Acoustic (FKNEBK)

Expanding on Faith Acoustic Guitars' celebrated Naked series, these thru-black models offer the same robust acoustic performance as all-solid wood guitars but boast a distinctive 'thru black' finish and black hardware.

Utilizing a hand-rubbed stain instead of a sprayed paint finish results in a unique appearance for each guitar. Additionally, due to the distinct cellular structures of Spruce and Mahogany, the stain adheres differently to each piece of tonewood. This captivating natural variation is especially prominent on the Spruce top, where the black stain may be more or less absorbed in certain areas, resulting in a distinct patina for each model – some will display a uniform black tone, while others will showcase more prominent wood patterns.

In line with the original Naked series ethos, these guitars shed non-essential adornments, remaining in their natural, Naked state. Featuring a satin finish throughout, the tonewood enjoys unparalleled freedom for resonant vibrations, yielding a tonal quality far exceeding typical expectations at this price point.

The Faith Neptune model, fashioned after Patrick James Eggle's acclaimed 'Saluda' shape, is categorized as a Baby-Jumbo, sporting a 16" lower bout. It caters to those in search of acoustic potency without the bulk of a traditional, full-sized 17” Jumbo.

This FKNEBK model retains the full, non-cutaway body shape, ensuring robust unplugged sound across the range. Should you wish to amplify it, the FKNEBK is equipped with Fishman’s Sonitone pickup located beneath the saddle, complete with unobtrusive volume and tone controls discreetly positioned under the soundhole's edge. The output is routed through an integrated jack socket/strap button at the guitar's base.
