Bof's Blues by Roy Bainton

In the late 50s and early 60s, inspired by Lonnie Donegan and The Shadows, teenage lads flocked to music shop for guitars and drums. Fame beckoned. 

One such brylcreemed hopeful was Luke Dyer. But hard worker though he was, fame evaded Luke whilst his friend 'Django' Henderson became a million-seller. Luke's story is one of inertia and indecision, yet in the end, he still managed to rub shoulders with some  of rock's greatest.

Bof's Blues is an imagined life story, a fantasy of what could have been, and what might have happened. In some ways, it probably did.
