Mérida Guitars brings over two decades of acoustic guitar-making mastery to the UK, blending traditional hand-craftsmanship with precision-engineered manufacturing. The Castellan—part of the premium Prominence Series—represents refined tonal architecture and performance-ready elegance.
Constructed from solid spruce top with solid mahogany back and sides, the Castellan delivers warmth, projection and stage presence. Its flamed maple neck and rosewood fingerboard offer visual distinction alongside structural stability. A camel bone nut and saddle ensure optimal vibration transfer and tonal clarity.
Custom Mérida machine head knobs, precision bracing and a 43mm nut width provide professional playability and tuning precision. The Mérida MR5 pre-amp and pickup system enable seamless amplification without compromise.
Every detail—from carefully graded tonewoods to hand-finished hardware—reflects Mérida's commitment to consistency and musical performance. Supplied with Daddario XT 012-053 strings.
