Fender American Acoustasonic Telecaster

The Fender American Acoustasonic Telecaster combines the familiar feel and styling of a Telecaster with a versatile acoustic-electric design, making it equally at home on stage, in the studio or unplugged at home.

The guitar features a hollow Modified Telecaster body constructed from mahogany with a solid Sitka spruce top, providing a naturally resonant acoustic voice while keeping the comfortable proportions and playability of a Telecaster. A WaterFall sound port and transverse bracing further enhance the acoustic response and projection.

Its versatile electronics combine three pickup systems: a Fishman under-saddle transducer, an internal body sensor and a Fender Acoustasonic Noiseless N4 magnetic pickup. These are controlled via a five-way voice selector, master volume and blend control, giving the player a wide range of acoustic and electric tones from a single instrument.

The mahogany neck has Fender’s comfortable Modern “Deep C” profile, a satin urethane finish and a 12” radius ebony fingerboard. The neck features 22 narrow-tall frets, a Graph Tech TUSQ nut and a 25.5” (648 mm) scale length, providing a familiar Fender playing feel.

Hardware includes Fender Standard Cast/Sealed Staggered tuning machines, a Modern Asymmetrical bridge and Graph Tech TUSQ bridge pins, finished in chrome. The guitar comes fitted with Fender Dura-Tone 860CL coated phosphor bronze strings in .011-.052 gauge and includes a Deluxe 1225 gig bag.
