A beautifully preserved piece of Japanese Fender craftsmanship, this mid-1990s Fender MIJ '72 Telecaster Thinline Reissue is a stunning recreation of one of Fender’s most unique vintage models. Finished in a classic Natural gloss and in immaculate condition for its age, this semi-hollow Telecaster blends vintage tone with elegance and comfort.

Made in Japan during the golden era of Fender’s FujiGen production, this reissue captures all the charm of the original 1972 Thinline model — featuring a lightweight semi-hollow ash body, dual Wide Range-style humbuckers, and a slim maple neck that plays effortlessly.

Condition:
In immaculate condition for its age, this Tele shows barely any cosmetic wear — a rare find for a 30-year-old instrument. Frets are clean, hardware is shiny, and the electronics are fully functional. A collector-grade instrument, and an inspiring player’s guitar all in one. Includes original or era-correct gig bag or case if specified.

Excellent service of my guitar by Rob at the Hull store - new strings etc. Service with a smile and genuine interest in my guitar. Highly recommended. The star rating wasn't working and would only let me highlight two stars. The service deserves 5 stars.

I recently bought my keyboard from here instead of doing online, and I'm happy I did! Upon entering the shop you'll notice the wide variety of instruments ( especially pianos) displayed. One of the staff members helpfully talked me throught the different kinds of keyboard and gave me an idea of what sort of thing I wanted to buy , this was pleasing as it felt as if he wasn't trying to sell me something and generally wanted to help me! 👍 I ended up buying the keyboard there and then and it has been a perfect fit for me ever since! I would definitely recommend this place, even if you just wanted advice!

Used Gough & Davy many times over the years and have always been happy with their service. Most recently, I bought a new digital piano yesterday and it's been delivered, fully set up andcready to play today. Couldn't be happier. The staff are all very knowledgeable and take their time to explain all the in's and ous of various different models to ensure you choose the right one for you. My family will always use Gough & Davy. Thank you guys.

Such a shame there aren’t more shops like this. What an absolute diamond of a place! Katie was fabulous sorting my daughter out with her first violin. We came from Grimsby but will be back again for all our future musical needs 🎵

I bought a Yamaha hybrid piano a few years ago from Gough & Davy and needed to replace one of the key tops. This was proving to be a logistical nightmare considering it was such a simple but integral part. Shaun stepped in and saved the day, for which I will be eternally grateful. Collected the replacement key today, Shaun couldn't have been more helpful, piano rescued - Cheers Shaun & G&D, my favourite music store for about 50 years!

I came in around a week ago and was greeted by the staff in a lovely manner. I was told to talk to Oli due to the type of guitar I was looking for. He was amazing and showed me a few things around what I was looking for. He showed me how each guitar I considered sounded and compared them perfectly for me. Couldn’t be more grateful and walked out with a beautiful guitar!
